All measurements in cm.

Body length: from the base of the neck where a collar sits, to the base of the tail. Keep the tape straight along the back.

Neck: around the base of the neck, with room for two fingers under the tape.

Chest: around the widest part just behind the front legs, with your dog standing on all four paws.

Check all three against the chart. Allow room to move, and for anything worn underneath.

If your dog falls between sizes, take the larger one and check it against neck, chest and body length.

Urban Moto Suede Jacket

An everyday jacket for the cold months, built to layer over a knit without bunching.

Made in faux suede and fastening with snap fasteners. It is the kind of piece that ends up living by the front door rather than in a drawer.

Fabric and construction

The main fabric is faux suede. Faux suede is a brushed synthetic with a napped surface. It gives the matt finish of suede without the water sensitivity of real leather.

How to measure

Body length: from the base of the neck, where the collar naturally sits, to the base of the tail. Keep the tape straight along the back.
Neck: around the base of the neck where a collar sits. Allow room for two fingers.
Chest: around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs, with your dog standing on all four paws.

The supplied chart does not show where sleeve length is measured.

Fit notes

Compare neck, chest and body length together rather than choosing by one measurement alone. Allow comfortable room for movement and any layer worn underneath. If between sizes, check the larger size against all measurements. The jacket should close comfortably without pulling across the chest or restricting the legs.

Styling

Layers over a thin knit or a cotton tee on the coldest days, or wears on its own as a light outer layer.

Everyday use

This is the layer for cold, dry days: the school run, the evening walk, the hour in the park. Take it off indoors if your dog seems too warm.

Care

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle
Wash separately before first use
Do not bleach
Do not iron over embroidery, print or trims
Remove the jacket before the dog is crated or left unsupervised

Safety

For supervised wear. Check the fit each time it goes on, and take it off before the dog is crated or left alone. Inspect the stitching, fastenings and trims regularly, and stop using it if anything works loose or a seam opens.

What is not included

One jacket per order in the colour and size selected. The denim trousers shown in some photos, leads, collars, harnesses and other styling props are not included.
