A lightweight printed nylon dog collar in six bright patterns, from pixel hearts and red hibiscus to pink aliens and retro cars. The design is printed on both faces of the webbing, with a second coordinating pattern on the inside, so it still looks finished when the collar twists or the loose end flips over.

Fabric and safety

Nylon webbing is strong for its weight, dries quickly and keeps its shape, which is why it is the standard material for everyday collars. It is not padded, so for dogs that pull hard, a padded collar or a harness spreads the pressure better.

No breaking strength has been published for this collar. Check the buckle, D-ring and stitching regularly and replace the collar if the webbing frays or the buckle stops clicking firmly. Remove the collar when your dog is unattended in a crate.

Neck fit is the adjustable range of the collar. Measurements are taken by hand and can vary by 1-2cm.

Fit notes

Measure around your dog's neck where the collar will sit, using a soft tape. Once fastened, two fingers should slide flat underneath. Choose a size whose range runs at least 2cm above your dog's measurement. Sizes overlap, so if your dog fits two, pick the smaller for a slim neck and the larger for a growing puppy. M and L share the same 2.5cm width; L simply adjusts larger.

Styling

Pixel Hearts and Rainbow Pride are the brightest; Red Hibiscus and Pink Tropical suit summer. Pair any of them with a plain lead in a colour picked out from the print.

• Air dry away from direct heat; do not tumble dry
• Do not bleach or iron, as heat can fade the print
• Dry the metal fittings after wet walks
