A breathable carrier for short trips
This mesh pet carrier bag is made for small dogs and cats on everyday outings: a trip to the vet, a visit to friends, a walk into town when little legs get tired, or a car journey. The see-through mesh sides let air move freely and let your pet watch the world go by, which many pets find calmer than sitting in an enclosed box.
It carries two ways, in the hand or over the shoulder, and comes in two shapes. The off-white and mint green bags are soft, slouchy shoulder bags in an open-weave mesh, with a small fabric pouch on the side. The dark green and rose pink, and purple and yellow bags are structured totes with a zip-top opening, a flap pocket on the front and a solid side panel.

Material
The body is a breathable mesh, which keeps air moving around your pet on a warm day and lets you see them at a glance. On the tote styles, the mesh is edged with coloured binding and paired with solid fabric panels at the side and front. The bag is not waterproof, so it is best kept for dry days or used under an umbrella or inside a car.

Is it the right size?
Go by your pet's weight first, then their length. Your pet should be able to sit and turn round inside the bag without being squashed. If your pet is close to the weight limit, or long-bodied, wait for the dimensions before ordering. A carrier like this is for short journeys, not long trips or air travel.
Styling
Pair it with a lightweight lead and collar, so your pet is ready to step out as soon as you arrive. A small blanket or towel inside makes the base softer and gives your pet something familiar to settle on.
Care
- Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap
- Hand wash in cool water if needed; do not machine wash or tumble dry
- Leave to air dry fully before your pet uses it again
- Check the handles and zip before each trip, and stop using the bag if either is damaged
Safety
Never leave your pet unattended in the bag, keep the opening closed while carrying, and support the base of the bag when lifting a heavier pet.
