Measure your dog's shoulder height while they stand: from the floor to the top of the shoulder blades. Choose the stand by this measurement.
| Size | Dog shoulder height | Stand height | Bowl (width × depth) | Bowl rim from floor |
|---|
| Short | 40–50 cm (16–20 in) | 20.5 cm (8 in) | 17.3 × 4.8 cm (7 × 2 in) | approx. 20 cm (8 in) |
|---|
| Tall | 51–60 cm (20–24 in) | 25.4 cm (10 in) | 18 × 7 cm (7 × 3 in) | approx. 27.5 cm (11 in) |
|---|
| Extra-tall | 61–75 cm (24–30 in) | 30.5 cm (12 in) | 20 × 9 cm (8 × 4 in) | approx. 33.5 cm (13 in) |
|---|
The frame adjusts in width to hold bowls from 16 to 20 cm across. If your dog is between sizes, choose the shorter stand; a dog can stretch up a little but should not have to crouch.
The supplier gives no dog weights, so choose by shoulder height alone. Rim height is the bowl's base height plus the bowl's depth. Measurements are taken by hand, so a 1–2 cm difference is normal.
