A light, protective layer for slim, sighthound shapes
This lightweight dog vest is cut for the long, slim bodies and deep chests of sighthounds such as Italian Greyhounds, Whippets and Bedlington Terriers, breeds that often struggle to find a good fit in standard dog clothing. It is made for spring and summer outings, giving a thin protective layer without trapping heat.
The waterproof finish helps keep light showers and damp grass off your dog's coat, and the sun-protective fabric adds a layer of cover on bright days for thin-coated breeds. It comes in five soft colours, pink, sky blue, teal, grey and off-white, and in seven sizes from S to 4XL.

Material and safety
The supplier describes the vest as waterproof and sun-protective; the exact fabric and UV rating have not been confirmed, so we make no specific UPF claim. Clothing does not replace shade and water on hot days: walk in the cooler parts of the day, watch for signs of overheating, and remove the vest if your dog seems too warm. Always supervise your dog while they wear clothing, and take it off before leaving them alone.

Measurements are from the supplier's chart. Allow a 1–2 cm variation. Suggested weights are guidance only, not a guarantee of fit. The supplier notes that the garment is non-stretch and recommends sizing up for room. Check back length, chest and neck before choosing; do not order by breed or weight alone.
How to measure your dog
Measure with a soft tape. Back length: from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Chest: around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs. Neck: around the base of the neck where a collar sits. Compare all three with the chart and allow comfortable room for movement. If between sizes, choose the larger size only if the other measurements also fit.
Styling
Soft pink and sky blue look fresh on fawn and cream coats, teal stands out on grey and blue dogs, and grey and off-white are easy neutrals for every coat colour. Pair with a matching lead for spring walks.
Care
- Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent
- Do not bleach or tumble dry
- Dry flat or hang to dry in the shade
- Check seams and fastenings regularly
